About us
Machinemode LLC is an independent software development contractor specializing in application development. We have no employees. We contribute designs, features, and fixes to client codebases, using the client's repositories, CI, and deployment processes.
Security practices
Work is performed on devices we manage ourselves, with full-disk encryption and automatic screen lock.
Multi-factor authentication is enabled on accounts used for client work.
Credentials are stored in a password manager.
Client source code and data are accessed only through client-provided systems and are not copied to personal cloud storage.
Client data is removed from our devices when an engagement ends, subject to any retention requirements in the client agreement.
Incidents affecting client systems or data are reported to the client promptly, in line with our contract.
Security reviews, scanning, and release controls for deployed code are governed by the client's own processes.
Sub-processors
Machinemode LLC does not host, store, or process client production data or end-user personal data on its own infrastructure, and we do not use sub-processors to handle client data. Client source code is handled only with tools approved by the client.
Privacy
Machinemode LLC provides services to business clients and does not operate consumer-facing products. Apart from basic website analytics, we do not collect personal data from the public. Any client data we access is handled under the applicable client agreement and only as needed to perform the work. This website uses Google Analytics for basic traffic statistics, which may set cookies and is subject to Google's privacy policy. We do not sell personal information.
